Note: When I wrote this I was still on WordPress.com (they do not support the Cbox application). Now that I have my own domain, I prefer to use the Cbox widget.
Ever since I started using WordPress.com, me and a good enough chatbox widget have never met. That is, until now. Okay, this may be too early to rave on this new widget, since I have only tried using it like two minutes ago, 😀 but I am SO loving this Plugoo. :hearteyes: This chatbox widget for WP is still in its beta stage, so chances are I will run into a bug sooner or later, but I am digging its offered functionality. See, Plugoo allows you to chat with your site visitors in real time using your very own instant messenger account. How cool can that be? :celebrate: And that is without having to reveal to the person you are chatting with your messenger ID. Doubly cool. :thumbsup:I am also crazy over the control that it gives the user regarding the width, height and colors of the chatbox, as well as font color and size customization. It allows total customization of the widget, and it’s totally free. :nod: Way too cool. 😎 Your users will know when you are online, offline or away, because this WP chatbox widget also gives you the option of changing your status message for those instances. And if you’re offline, it gives you the choices of whether to send your offline messages on your IM when you reconnect, or to your email address, or even completely disabling chat while you’re not online. Cooler than cool. :star: The codes are in html form, so I think it can be used on any CMS platform (but of course, I am only just guessing that, being the tech-moron that I am :tongue: ). The Plugoo site in itself is an eye candy, plus it has a community which you will be able to interact with if you choose to.
Did I say I :stars: LOVE :stars: this widget? I did already? Oh. Have fun trying it out then! I’ll wait maybe one month after I say that this is the best chatbox widget for WordPress.com ever invented. One week, perhaps? 🙂

Cool chat widget. Also installed one sa site ko. The paid Cbox version though is a lot better.
