Do You Hear Wedding Bells?

I don’t. Haha! Well, at least, not for now. As some of you may know, me and Paulie are not yet married, and have no plans of getting hitched anytime soon. We have come to that decision even before I gave birth to Svet, and that’s how it’s going to be for three to four years more, I think. Unconventional? Maybe.

But as early as now we are already discussing wedding ideas, where to get married, who to invite, what to wear, and stuff. I told Paulie that as much as I would like to do the wedding decorations myself, I feel like I am not cut out for such work, and might do more damage than good to the ceremony if I were to personally handle the arrangements. Haha. I don’t want that, obviously. So maybe Paulie and I could both look at a wedding photo gallery and get fresh ideas to discuss with a wedding event expert and take it from there.

Which gets me to thinking. Is it really the preparations that gives women the jitters, or the fact that we are about to take the biggest plunge of our lives? Either way, marriage is not to be taken lightly, but for those who love truly, it would be the most amazing experience of a lifetime.
