Yesterday when we went to see the Grand Float Parade, there were a lot of parked vehicles on the road, and I noticed most of them were pickup trucks. Aside from visiting here to watch the parades, I think the tourists also went here for the cheap vegetables and other Baguio delicacies and native products that they can take home to their loved ones, thus the choice of vehicle.
I saw numerous tonneau covers protecting the trucks’ cargoes from heat (it’s extra hot here nowadays unlike previous years). Some have roll-n-lock covers, which makes it easier for tourists to put in their bought goods to the truck because of the retractable function and offers extra security for their cargos.
So if you have a pickup truck and would like to go here, I strongly suggest you equip it with a tonno cover like Access Cover, Truxport, Truxedo Lo Pro, BAKFlip G2, Pace-Edwards, Roll-N-Lock, Extang and Tonno Pro to protect your haul.

I’ve been to Baguio like twice already and I think the only downside to the trip is the long trip there. It’s like 6 hours by road which is exhausting, but I agree that the veggies are cheap.
