Nothing’s coming out of the faucet for two days now, and it was supposed to have water flowing out of it today. Impeccable timing. We have people coming on Friday and my mom and sisters will be here on Sunday and there’s no water. Last time we had this shortage, we had people over too.
And me and Paulie didn’t even think to serve them food on paper plates and plastic cups we have stored especially for that purpose. So we had tons of plates to wash as a result, and no water. I seriously think that amnesia is contagious, because Paulie is starting to become like me.
I’m still awake because we’re still waiting for the water. It usually comes around midnight. Might as well finish my pending tasks while waiting.
