Yep. But don’t put on your choking face yet because it happened years ago, when I was four years old. We (my sister and I. We were classmates in our local DayCare center. She was three years old.) had in fact dressed up for the United Nations program in school. I even remember us doing our flags the day before, me with the flags of Saudi Arabia and my sister doing her US flags. We had to make two of each because of our escorts. How chivalrous of them. Here are a couple of evidences of that day:
Emmanuel (my escort) was turned away from me. Do I have bad breath? Tee hee. But he’s kinda cute. He looks like Joseph the Carpenter. Hahaha! I so love our sandals. LOL. And in fairness, we won Best In Costume. Haha! And here’s our class picture:
As with most class pictures, I am at the back. And that little guy in front of me whose big hat almost obscured my face, that’s my cousin Em. He was my sister’s escort (she’s the chubby one on his right side). I wonder where their state flags are. And just look at my escort. He’s nowhere near me. I seriously think now that he has something against me that day. Was I a bitch, even back then? LOL. Look how cute we were. Very prim and proper, at least in this picture.
After the event there were flags scattered everywhere. I remember I wanted to take some of them home, even the military flags I saw. Of course my mom didn’t allow me to. Said we had too much garbage in our house already. Haha! Wow. This is really something. I should post more pictures like this. I wish I could find more of my old pictures in my grandmother’s house when we go there in June. I can’t wait to share it to you all! 🙂
