Rash Of Robberies In Suello

I regret to say that despite initial appearances, Wakat Suello Road in Baguio City is not as peaceful as it seems. Since we moved here, we have heard of several thieving in the area, and we have, in fact, already been a victim. Not much to cry about though, it was a Php160 umbrella, very easy to buy another one. Although it makes us think, if it’s that cheap, why bother stealing it? Anyways, so this morning, we talked to the landlord (Arnold) and he mentioned of another robbery which happened last night, to the house of a security guard, nonetheless.

Arnold said the next step might be to install security cameras, and everyone in the building completely agree. It’s high time the robber (or robbers, there is no general agreement on that yet) pays for his crimes. We are, after all, hardworking people who put in a lot of time and effort into buying stuff for our house, and it would be sad if we’d just standby and watch them be stolen by a criminal (or criminals).
