The Rejected Laptop

I think I have mentioned before that my two cousins (Faye and Avec) who now live with their mom in London are coming for a vacation. I haven’t followed that up because of I didn’t have internet connection then, but they were here while we were moving. The younger one, Avec, stayed longer than her two sisters (their elder sister Karla came too after being allowed a leave from her office) and just went back to Bulacan today. I think Avec missed my mom a lot, because it was my mom who practically brought her up since Avec was little.

My aunt offered to give me Faye’s old laptop, which the latter brought with her here. I declined because I’m not sure if I can use it for my design needs. I wasn’t able to read any laptop reviews due again to my lack of internet connection. All I know was that it has 2GB of memory (definitely more powerful than the average netbook. And much heavier, too), a 160GB hard drive (much smaller than the one on my computer now) and.. That’s it. That’s all I know. LOL.

I didn’t want to take the laptop when I’m unsure if I could use it to all the time. Besides, I will be paying for it. Right now I don’t want to buy something that’s not on our budget. Since I didn’t accept the offer, Faye will be bringing it back with her to London when they go home this August 30. I told her to just leave it to her sister Karla instead so she can get rid of the extra baggage. I don’t know what they will decide to do with that portable computer now.
