There was an advisory on the UnionBank site for EON card customers a couple of weeks back but it was only recently that I clicked on the link and read the entirety of the advisory. It announced that EON card owners will now be charged an extra Php10 for every third and succeeding withdrawal for the month (yes, that’s for withdrawals at UnionBank ATMs). Here’s a screen shot:
Not that big of a deal, at least for me, because I rarely withdraw more than three times a month. Why? There’s nothing to withdraw, that’s why. LOL. And besides, Php10 is just a small amount compared to the fees that I would incur if I always withdrew at another bank’s ATM. I’m still thankful for the always on-time withdrawals from PayPal, so I am more than willing to oblige to the Php10 every now and then.
However, if you receive your work pay weekly through PayPal and is used to withdrawing four times a month, you might want to cut it down to twice every thirty days to save on fees.
