We won’t be transferring to the new house until next month but it pays to clean up the house early in time for the actual moving out. We’ve learned that lesson the hard way, from last time. We spent more hours than necessary on cramming for the move, and it wasn’t at all pleasant. Me and Paulie were tired and were blaming each other for not doing this and that earlier. So this time we’re doing it right. We started sorting out our stuff this morning and will be doing it again next weekend. I found a lot of missing things (my notebook! yay!), threw away some coupons which we were supposed to have used a month back, and packed some of the clothes that we hardly use in a huge box.
Still have a lot to go through, though. For a family with not a lot of possessions, we sure have accumulated lot of junk over the years of being together. If I thought myself as a hopeless pack rat, Paulie proved me wrong. He’s worse than I am. He even keeps his old bottles of Axe (the deodorant) for goodness knows what. Sheesh. Oh well. He’s gotta learn to throw some things sometime. Like I did. It’s kind of liberating to throw unused stuff, really. I should tell him that.

D also keeps his deodorant bottles inside the cabinet. But I was able to talk him into throwing it out because he can’t give me one good reason why he needs to keep it. 🙂
i bet moving out is hard, especially the packing part, the last time we moved out was when I was still elementary.
