Some of you might have noticed that I went MIA a couple of days back and only got to go online today. This is due to a strong typhoon which hit our city big time, and caused us to lose electricity for almost sixty hours. It was crazy, not being able to work for almost three days (thus no income) but considering how we are safe and sound after the fierce storm, I’m still really, really thankful. I failed to catch the evening news about how it was for the rest of Northern Luzon, but I pray that they weren’t as hard hit as the last strong typhoon we had.
This is one of the disadvantages of living in my beloved city. We are almost always on the path of a destructive storm. It’s a good thing we chose a place to live that is safe from landslides, or we would be worrying about it every time a typhoon comes in. I have a lot of work to catch up on, but I’m not complaining. A lot of work means more income to feed the family, and all I can say now is, bring it on. After a couple of days of doing nothing but talking to Paulie and playing with Svet, I am fully charged and raring to go and finish all the work waiting for me.
I hope you had a safe week like I did people. See you around the blogosphere!
