Paper Bags

My dad makes awesome paper bags. He learned making them a couple of years back, but did not pursue doing it because he had no market and not a lot of capital to work with. Plus he was occupied by helping his sister run their small business. He went to see us when we were in Bulacan last week and we talked about the possibility of marketing his bags online on Facebook, with me posting his inventory online since I am in front of the computer most of the time anyway.

I gave him a small amount to buy the materials with. I was intending to buy him a new pair of jeans for Christmas, if he requests for it, but I decided giving him the money instead as an investment to start his bag-making again would go a longer way. I’m just waiting for him to send me the bags’ pictures through email in a month’s time, so I can post it on the networking site for everyone to appreciate. I hope this venture proves to be lucrative for Dad’s sake. I’ll let you know when the page is up, and I sincerely hope you can support his business.
