Hammering All Around

There is a house being renovated near us, so you can imagine how noisy it is during the day time. But not so noisy to the point of annoying, I don’t think this subdivision can achieve that level of noisy (it’s a very quiet neighborhood, see). Just the constant sound of hammers and whatever equipment they use to renovate the house. The house across the street is quite big (three floors), and I think the construction works will go for at least a week more. The house used to be owned by a friend of my mom’s, but has since been bought by, well, we don’t know who.

Mom told me the interior of the house is very lovely, with a rustic feel based on her descriptions. She’s been inside because that’s where they spent a 5-day vacation years ago, when we are still Bulacan-based. On the outside, it looks pretty worn down, which might be the reason the new owner decided it’s time for a makeover. They have taken down the glass mosaic tile designs on the side of the house, though. I’ll miss that, and I hope they will just replace it with newer ones and not totally remove it. I’ve been used to seeing that ever since, and I just don’t think it will look the same without it.

Oh well. What do I care anyways? It’s not my house. LOL. When I am finally going to have my own home built, I will definitely have mosaic tiles somewhere in the house. Where, I’m not sure yet. When, that is an even more unsure question. Haha!
