Riverview Waterpark (Tuba, Benguet)

We discovered Riverview Waterpark last March, on a spur-of-the-moment decision to go swimming. We wanted to go somewhere near, and after a little research on the Internet, we learned that there are four resorts in Benguet, so we decided to go there. We took two jeepney rides to get to Nangalisan (where Riverview is), and from Balacbac (our house), it took us around thirty minutes to get there. We got off the jeepney on the Palm Grove Hot Springs & Mountain Resort, but upon learning of its rates, we decided to check out Riverview first before deciding where to go swimming.

We walked back several kilometers to where Riverview is, and came across two other pools on the way. Those two did not look appealing to us, so we passed them to inquire at Riverview. When we got there, we immediately knew that we will be definitely swimming there. And since the last trip of jeepney bound for Baguio town proper is only 4:00 pm, we decided to stay the night in Riverview. A great decision, since overnight guests had access to the three private pools, all of which are warmer than the seven public pools that they have. We have been there twice already, and we are planning to go back on the first week of May to celebrate Svet’s birthday there. Each of the previous visit is enjoyable and truly worth our money, mainly because the kids (my daughter Svet and nephew Elijah) enjoy the pools so much.

Below are some of the pictures that we took of the resort, and complete information about Riverview Waterpark’s room rates (taken from their flyer) after that:
