I Heart Surprises!

Nobody told me I’ve been good this year. I honestly had no clue! I thought I was doing okay being my normal cranky self 😆 But two lovely blogger friends decided I deserve a bit better than a Facebook wall post this year, and surprised me with equally lovely presents. The first came from Mommy Rossel of Topics on Earth. My current favorite bag, because it fits both my wallet and camera perfectly. I love how it has that gorgeous green ribbon on the handle. I haven’t felt girly in a while, but that ribbon right there makes me feel like a girl every time I use the bag. So thank you soo much Mommy Rossel! Your gift really means a lot to me ^^

The second surprise came from Mommy Levy of LEVYousa, who, like Mommy Rossel, I still haven’t seen face-to-face. My sister Phoebe told me that someone is giving me something for my birthday. No amount of badgering made her admit who it was from and what the gift was, she just said I should wait till we get to the mall. Turns out it was a lovely lunch at Max’s Restaurant! The manager, whose name I already forgot (I hope he doesn’t take offense. I hardly remember anything, I swear!) was there at the door to greet us and apologize for their inability to deliver food beyond the mall area.

I really felt special that day, and almost cried (yikes!) if not for all the laughter around. So amidst the sea of food and waiters hovering around us ready to do our bidding, we had (yep, you guessed it right) a wonderful lunch. So thank you, thank you Mommy Levy. You not only made my heart glad, but our tummies as well ^^
