Virtual Suicide

I’ve read somewhere that virtual suicide is abandoning your blog completely, where the header should read: No Updates Since 2005. Why commit such an act of treachery to your loyal readers? Well, a lot of reasons, really. You realized you’re more interested in the real world, you ran out of informative (or useless. Trust me, it works both ways.) stuff to say, you got a full-time real-world job which took away all of your blogging time, you’ve got a full-time online job which earns you tons more, you’ve matured and moved on to other exciting Internet ventures such as playing Mafia Wars on Facebook or insert your choice of virtual distraction here.

I tried virtual suicide twice (with Friendster [I know, old school. But hey, Friendster uses WordPress now as their blogging platform. Tee hee] and Multiply) but haven’t succeeded. I believe I haven’t fully explored the maximum potential of blogging. Sadly, after blogging on and off (more on lately) for almost five years now, I’m afraid I still haven’t. Which means I cannot claim that blogging is my passion (if I already have, please remind me because I often blog and contradict myself). If anything, earning money is my passion, and blogging is one of the ways I achieve it. Hahaha!

So, am I still a candidate for virtual suicide anytime soon? Well I guess not until my readers send me tons of email to please stop polluting the Internet atmosphere with my inane blog entrie, which won’t happen anytime soon because I have now established a fan base. Heh.

  1. I did abandon some of my sites. The problem with me is, I keep changing my URL. This is probably my last. sometimes, I just can’t help it…
