Home-aholic

Some of you might have noticed that I have been out of touch for a couple of days now. This is due to my internet connection being in the process of transfer to our new home. As I believe I have mentioned in another post, we are moving to somewhere near here, a lot smaller than where we live now, but it will be just Paulie and Svet and I so space will not be an issue. Besides we don’t have a lot of stuff. The house will not be available for residency until the first week of August, so in the meantime we will be at our mom’s house.

Why the wait? No, there’s no one there that we have to wait to move out before we can move in. Tee hee. The house is actually new, but when Paulie and I last went there, there was still no paint on the walls and the floor is still not waxed. But it looks pretty sturdy, judging from what I saw during the construction phase (I visit every week to see how they are going). I don’t think any kind of restoration will be needed in a while, seeing how everything is brand new.

And no, as much as I want for the house to be our own, it isn’t. We are just renting it, and since we will be the first ones to rent it, we will get first taste of how it feels like to live there. Wish us good luck. Moving to another house is an exciting adventure for me, one that I hope to enjoy to the fullest.
