I’ve discussed several times in this blog how important it is for a business to not only have a web presence, but to also have a decent website that will keep customers coming back for more. Why would businessmen listen to me when I’m not even a big shot business person? I know because I make a living off the Internet (however small). I know because I have the heart of a marketer (at least I’d like to think so). I know because I am an Internet shopper myself. I know because I’m a blog designer. We all know that professional web designers (I’m talking about the big guns) can ask $1500 for a very basic design. But what to do when budget is tight?

Certainly not what a certain someone did, which is bash another person’s business because she can’t afford it. Obviously that won’t get anyone anywhere (except gain a lot of enemies along the way). Not only are they more affordable but what with the stiff competition, these services are offering better and better deals by the day. They are now a far cry from the scene a couple of years back, when it is painfully obvious that a site came off a website builder. So there is still hope, even for the smallest of businesses, to make their presence known to the world.
