A month ago, I swear I would give myself a new camera for Christmas. But I realized the camera that my marces gave me is still pretty new, so why buy another one immediately? So I settled for new CPU parts. Errrr, yeah. CPU parts. What, you thought I was going for a new pair of shoes or treat myself to beauty treatments? Well you know, I’m a geek girl like that. I figured that since it’s the thing that I use almost 24/7 and it’s for my job (where all of our money comes), it would be the best gift for myself.
Nothing high end, mind you. I cannot afford that now, what with the other stuff for the house in my list that I am targeting to purchase before the year ends. Just a better motherboard, graphics card and processor, a bigger memory module and maybe another UPS if I can still swing it. Those are pretty cheap, come to think of it, compared to the better efficiency that I will be getting in return.
I should invest more in my computer, methinks. Mom thinks we’re replacing our desktops too much but we’re talking about an industry where everything is upgraded on a daily basis.
