The last time I went to Manila, I stayed again with Fedhz in their condo because I had nowhere else to go. LOL. I was supposed to sleep at Peh’s but I didn’t know how to get there even though I’ve been there twice before. Yeah, I’m geographically challenged and I hate it. Anyways, as expected, there was never a dull moment during my stay, not with Fedhz around. You’ll know what I’m talking about if you know her. She talks non-stop, and I’m not even exaggerating. No wonder her daughter Yz is also talkative.
Yz is usually not around other kids so she’s always hungry for a playmate. Maybe she saw me and thought “Oh, well, she’ll have to do”. Haha! She’s a bit hard to talk to because she speaks in straight English and I’m not used to speaking the language (only writing it). She wanted to play for five minutes (Fedhz told me that’s the only time frame she knows. How cute!), and that we did. She showed me her toys (“Watch and learn”, she said) and her new iPod. She was indifferent to the pink iPod accessories that her mom bought her, though. I thought it was cute, but you know kids, they hardly care for the extras. It’s only us adults that go gaga over it.
I went home with Fedhz’ voice still ringing in my ears and my big polvoron loot. Sadly, the polvoron was not able see the light of day because it was immediately devoured by the people here at home. I don’t know when I will be back in Manila, or if I will be staying at Fedhz’ again (do I hear groans of protest?) but I will be seeing her again for sure. When you’re marces, you simply cannot avoid each other, online or offline. LOL.
