Yesterday was palm Sunday but we weren’t able to visit the church (as always). My sister who attended a birthday party said that there were no taxis available at 8 pm and all the establishments were closed already. I wonder what to do tomorrow until black Saturday. Since we are online all the time, I am thinking of not using the computer for how many days to give respect to Holy Week. Maybe we’ll attend the church for a change and have simple meals at home right after.
As said by Archbishop Palma, Holy Week is for reflection, not vacation. Why not spend a day to reflect about our sins and what Jesus did for us? So now I understand why at my grandma’s home, there’s to be absolutely no loud music, no loud talking, and no laughing out loud, even.
We used to spend Lent season with mom and all the family members inside the house but since she cannot be home before the first week of May due to a seminar, we will be spending it without her. Well anyways, there’s the inflatable pool in our backyard that the kids can go to if they get bored. I wonder if we’ll be able to play our long unused Scrabble later this week. Hmmm..
