Yes, a dedicated server. A month back, I was surprised to find my blogs down. It’s not a normal occurrence, and I’m quite puzzled as to why my host wants me to contact them immediately. I found out that the problem is with my file count. There are currently sixteen domains on my account, most of which are very active and have tons of images on each.
My current solution to the problem is to not upload photos directly to my host anymore, instead use my premium Photobucket account for that purpose. However, I have blogs who need images to be directly uploaded to the host, so I find that my file count keeps getting higher still.
One of these days I’m going to have to take a drastic remedy, and I just hope my current host offers dedicated servers. If not, then I will have to either purchase a new account and transfer some of my blogs there, or buy a dedicated server hosting from another company that offers such.
Just thinking about it makes my head spin right now. I’ve tried transferring hosts before and boy can I just tell you, it’s not something I look forward to doing again in the near future.
