It’s Not You, It’s Me

If I weren’t such a forgetful toad, I would have stayed with you till the end. But since I am, and I couldn’t afford another downtime on any of my sites anymore (understand that this is my bread and butter, what keeps my family alive), I left. It’s hard for me to leave (and harder still to get accustomed to a new environment) but as my sites grow, I have to give in to its demands. I wish there was a practical reason to stay, but all I have now is my loyalty to you, and that is not the most valid reason in the world to hold on to.

Yes, I know I could have stayed, but that means giving more attention to my bandwidth allocation, which I couldn’t promise to do because of my nature to be forgetful, and providing more budget for extra resources, which I don’t have. Money is tight as it is. So I did what I have to do, even if it means leaving you. I’m sorry but that’s how it is. Thank you for almost a year of service, I will never forget you because you are my first. We may not have lasted as long as I wanted to, but know that you will be in my mind always, when friends come asking for a budget-friendly hosting.

Thank you and goodbye.
