The home we’re living in right now is not new, and we’ve encountered a few problems with the interior already. Several repairs have been done by the men in the house. Not too serious repairs, though. Just what you’d expect from a house that’s been standing for almost ten years. The latest house mishap focuses on the door knobs. Why in heaven’s name, we don’t know. Almost all of them seemed to have come apart one after the other the last two months, and while we have replaced the more important door knobs (the one in the main door and at the back of the house), there are still three that needs replacing.
And while buying from hardware would be a good idea to get this small problem over and done with, I don’t think Paulie will agree as he prefers to go physically to his favorite hardware store in order to buy new door knobs. He says he likes to see them first hand before he decides to actually buy them. Although when that trip to the store will happen, I don’t know. We’re both quite swamped with work at the moment, and the matter of faulty doorknobs inside the house will have to take a back seat for now.
