When we go out to buy stuff for the little one, she makes sure she has a say on what we decide to buy. At barely three, she already has her own preferences of brand (cartoon characters that she likes). She likes Dora and Elmo, as well as Spongebob and Mickey Mouse. On our usual trip to National Bookstore to buy her drawing pads and coloring books, she picks the latter by herself, insisting that we buy what she likes versus what we want for her (the cheaper ones of course. Hehe). Or else.
Me and Paulie have pretty much mastered the art of giving in. And well, when we think a price for an item is truly ludicrous, we also have perfected the science of distraction. Haha! I wouldn’t be surprised one of these days if she screams that she be bought something she saw online. That girl is everywhere on the internet these days, what with her domination of my desktop when I’m occupied with other chores.
Quite a handful, my Svet is. But we love her to bits.
