We’ve started taking measures to make sure the kids are safe while they play around the house. It’s only recently that both of them began to explore all corners of our house, and I’m always afraid they’d fall or touch an exposed electrical wire or something.
Paulie bought accessories because we have a lot of wires in the house (internet, telephone, router and extension wires, to name a few that I think we should hide from the kids’ sight. My nephew Elijah is always playing with wires and I’m afraid something will happen if we won’t do anything about it.
We have yet to purchase outlet covers but most of the outlets in the house are hidden behind a furniture so it’s very hard for the kids to have access to it. We aren’t taking any chances, though, so I asked Paulie to buy those covers next time he goes to the hardware.

Why are kids so curious anyway? 😛 I felt the same way when Lucas turned 2 and can explore the house on his own.. 😛
He’s not so curious now because there’s nothing left to explore, now he’s just messy.. 😛
Those outlet cover is really a must when you have children in the house. Young kids love sticking anything in the electrical outlet. ‘Just can’t take any risk.

yes, its important na safe kahit ang bahay para sa mga bata.
We have found that using anti-tip devices and drawer latches are very very helpful tools in preventing dressers or tall furniture from tipping forward on children. You can also add safety latches to dresser drawers to prevent your child from opening the drawers, climbing on them, or pulling a drawer completely out onto himself.
