New Favorite Thing

Last month, I finally bought a mobile again after four years of not owning one. I want to get back on my reading but don’t have the luxury of going out to buy a new book every time I finish a new one so I decided that a mobile phone with e-book reading capability would be the best bang for my buck. Svet’s been playing on her cousin Elijah’s iTouch, too, and they are often fighting over it, and that’s my other reason for buying the phone.

Good thing there are available educational apps for kids in the Android marketplace, and Svet is very occupied nowadays with the books and games I downloaded to the phone for her. The phone case I bought is of a plain color (black), since Paulie is also using it.

Today, Svet, my sister Phoebe and I went to town to pay for the cool cell phone covers and some other stuff I purchased from an online seller. We also met up with a fellow mom blogger in the mall who brought along her kid Lucas as well. I think the kids got along pretty well. They bonded over the games of their mom’s phones, and talked a lot in a language that only they can understand. LOL.

Kids nowadays, they are so advanced when it comes to their interests. Imagine three year olds concentrating on the phones in their hands like it was the only thing that can save them. *sigh* Svet and Lucas in the following pictures, caught in the act. LOL.
