Gimme A Break

From the monotony of our daily schedule. It’s always the same everyday. Work, playtime, movies, games, work on weekdays then playtime, movies, games, park time on weekends. We never get away from our comfort zone. Not that we don’t want to, but we simply can’t afford to with what we are saving for in the future. I would’ve liked to go to Paris. Big, right? But a girl can dream, so. Even with cheap airflights, I doubt that’s achievable as of now.

Even so, I can imagine me choosing discount airfares if by some miracle we are able to afford it, being the a natural-born cheapskate that I am, and hubby contesting that we should go all the way since it’s not everyday that we get to experience that. We always playfully argue about it, me being a stingy old miser and him being a spendthrift. It’s one of those things that you can tell the difference in our age (he’s three years younger).

Still, it pays to know a few good travel resources. You never know. I recently joined a raffle whose top prize is a trip to Australia so I might need that information. Not Paris, but it’s outside the country, so that’ll do for now. AS IF I’m not the unluckiest person in the world when it comes to raffles. AND as if I even have a passport. Ha ha.
