I know that it’s still January, but I can already feel the love breeze! When I went to town yesterday, I saw more flower vendors than the usual number, and several stores have already decorated their shops with red stuff all over. Baguio City is where you can find cheap and gorgeous flowers (fresh and artificial flower, you can find it here), so it’s mighty convenient if you and your loved one live here in the city. Especially so if your partner is the expressive kind, then expect to get a huge, lovely bunch on the 13th.
Me and Paulie do not celebrate Valentine’s Day, though. Not surprising, as Paulie is not the showy type. In fact, he’s never given me a flower, not even an artificial plant. So sad, no? But I’ve gotten used to it over the years. It’s not the material things that I want, after all. It’s the everyday things that he does, it’s what’s more important. Or maybe I’m just kidding myself, and I really want to be pampered on V-Day and want this post to serve as a blatant hint for Paulie to go and GET ME SOME FLOWERS. LOL! Sheesh, have I been bitten by the love bug suddenly? I think I am listening to too much love songs lately. Haha!
