VanEATy Resto Cafe

Last Tuesday, Ayie and I met up with some Bulacan bloggers for the first time through the initiative of pretty Jennie of Raising Hunter. It was a beautiful sunny day that started with a food sampling from one of the newest food stops in Bulacan, VanEATy Resto Cafe.

Vaneaty Resto Cafe

Matagal na kaming nagpaplano to go there since we first heard of it a couple of months back, more so when we heard they started offering an eat-all-you-can Sunday brunch buffet (hello, bilbil). However, life can get in the way of plans, even ones so anticipated as new resto hunting. Kaya we are super thankful for this blogger meet-up because it allowed us to not only to discover the best of what VanEATy has to offer, but to meet two of the lovely and passionate owners of this resto cafe as well.

Situated at the back of the lot of PTT Gas Station in San Pablo, VanEATy Resto Cafe is a bright, quaint spot amidst a sea of boring-colored buildings. They only opened last July 31, 2015, and we were told that the restaurant is made from two container vans, thus the van in the name. Once you enter, you will immediately find out why the whole resto name is a play on the word vanity.

We arrived there ahead of the rest so we were able to take several pictures of the interior while waiting for the others. The whole place is Instagrammable! The inside (which is air-conditioned) feels super feminine (as seen on the panorama above).

My favorite corner because it has, you guessed it, books!

There are more chairs and tables outside, where the buffet is held and where the mini-stage is set for open mic and acoustic nights (every Friday and Saturday, 7:00pm onwards). There’s also a second floor with more tables and chairs to accommodate patrons.

The rest of the bloggers trooped in shortly, led by Jennie with her cutie pie Hunter, followed by Gretchen then Vix. The whole time we were there, we were entertained by two of the owners, Mildred Postigo and Bang Santos. They graciously answered the questions we asked them regarding the restaurant while their friendly staff serve us their bestsellers in what seemed to me as a never-ending parade of sumptuous food.

My favorites from the bunch are: the Creamy Shrimp Gambas Pasta (which smelled sooo good and tasted even better), the Baconeaty Pizza (if you’re a huge bacon fan like me, you’re going to love how the taste of bacon just basically explodes in your mouth with every mouth-watering bite) and the steaks (not my usual order when eating out but boy it will be, from now on. I am in love with the steak-mashed potato combination, it’s perfect).

The rest of the food served to us also tasted great (the pesto pasta in particular reminded me of a lovely pasta joint in Baguio, and the nachos dip is heaven), but those above-mentioned will definitely be on my list of things to order the next time we come around (which I hope is soon). But maybe I’ll add Spicy Shrimp & Garlic Pasta to my orders. Just thinking about it makes my mouth water. I also look forward to sampling more of their drinks (although Vani-tea and their cucumber lemonade were delightful).

I thank two of the four beautiful women behind Vaneaty Resto Cafe, Ms. Bang Santos and Ms. Mildred Postigo, for accommodating us warmly during our visit, and for bringing yet another great addition to the growing list of eat-out options in Bulacan.

So if you’re near Malolos, Bulacan and you’re looking for a good place to eat in, you must go to VanEATy Resto Cafe to experience some of the mouth-watering items on their menu. I have only been there once, but I can honestly say that you will be seeing more of VanEATy in my social media in the days to come because me and my family plan to storm the place frequently for more orgasmically good food.
