Skin Care Clinic in Guiguinto
There are so many beauty clinics in Bulacan sa totoo lang, but we only need one or two na makakasundo ng budget at skin natin. It also helps if they’re close to home, so we can go as soon as we feel the need to.
I discovered Skin Habitat because the owners are the same family that owns MOSH Bubble tea, also a proudly Bulacan-based business. I got invited last November to try some of their services, so P and I went. Here’s my experience.
The Place
Their clinic is easy enough to find because it’s along the highway. There’s street parking in the front but they have also allotted a space in the back so your vehicles are safe while you’re having a pampering session inside.
The interior is giving me a Scandinavian vibe: it’s minimalistic, it’s simple but it works for me. Very calming din ang dating nung place, perfect because it’s a place you go to to take your mind off things.
It’s not a big space, but it’s not cramped kaya you’re still comfortable while you’re getting a mani-pedi, a facial or any of the number of services they currently offer.
The Services
For a newcomer in the business, halos kumpleto na sila ng pampering services. They would no doubt be adding more to their repertoire in the coming months as they settle more. Below is a pic of their current services offered and their prices:
From the list, I tried their Hydra Facial with serum, their hand paraffin wax and their signature foot spa. Unahin na natin yung kanilang Hydra Facial service. They have a handy phone holder in their light stand so I was able to take a video of the whole process. Watch the video below:
I was attended to by Janet during my Hydra Facial session at ang gaan ng kamay nya so I was very relaxed throughout. She asks about how I’m feeling with every step in the process, and explained to me the purpose of each step patiently. This costs Php2,500 including the serum (Php2,000 without the serum).
Bago pa ako tuluyang makatulog , the session was over and I was asked to move to the main room for their signature foot spa naman. This one is Php300 naman, Php400 if may kasamang cleaning and regular polish.
Of all the places I’ve gone to for a foot spa, sila yung may pinakamaraming steps so far. I’ve lost count halfway through kung gaano kadaming steps meron sila Pero the above picture should give you an idea.
Very thorough talaga sila dun. Tanggal lahat ng dapat matanggal, super sulit ng ibabayad nyo.
While my foot spa is ongoing, sinimulan na rin yung pag-paraffin wax sa kamay ko. This is my first time to experience this, so I didn’t know what to expect.
They basically coated both my hands in warm wax, then covered them in plastic and towel for several minutes. After the wax has set, it was removed gently from my hands and I was then massaged for a couple of minutes with a scented oil.
My hands definitely felt softer and looked younger after the wax. My work as a web designer involves using my hands almost all day, so I’m glad that I took that opportunity to pamper them.
Before we left, I was given a sample of their Classy White soap and Primer Suncreen, both of which I still use now. I love their Primer Suncreen so much! Oily ang facial skin ko kaya bagay sakin yung matte finish nya, and it gets better — it dries to a powder finish, perfect na base for makeup application
Verdict
I loved Skin Habitat and will definitely go back for a mani-pedi or a facial. It’s close enough and my entire experience was very relaxing and comfortable. I will definitely recommend this clinic to you if you live in Guiguinto or nearby towns.
