Eat-All-You-Can in Meycauayan
I met up with three of my Top Fans last August 7 to treat them to an afternoon of food and fun, as a gesture of appreciation for all their support to the fan page. It’s been a while since I did this, the last one was 2019 pa. I stopped the monthly top fan giveaway earlier this year because I had a couple of pet projects that needed my time. I just restarted it again last month kasi miss ko na magpasaya ng mga top fans sa page
This is the currently the main branch of Sexy Kittea Cafe. They have another one in Bocaue, a smaller place in a tad more secluded area along MacArthur Highway. Plans for a Valenzuela branch is underway. Parking is limited at the Meycauayan branch, so that’s one thing to take into consideration when planning a trip to the store.
It’s a theme cafe, so expect lots of pink and kitty stuff upon entering. Even their utensils follow the theme! Dining is at limited capacity these days so better to call ahead for reservations before going. They do have space on the second floor, so.
The star of the meal: the chicken wings. You can choose from twelve (!!!) flavors: garlic parmesan, honey sriracha, sweet and spicy, salted egg, teriyaki, mango habanero, plain, hickory bbq, lemon wings, cajun spice, honey mustard and Kittea buffalo.
I loved that each piece is generously coated/dressed in sauce, but still maintain the crispiness of the breading. Ang galing ng technique nila! That’s the perfect combo for me. No wonder they have patrons coming in from other provinces pa, just to eat their wings over and over again.
If I have to pick favorites, they would be the honey sriracha, the salted egg, the lemon wings and the teriyaki. I am definitely coming back for them, hopefully with the daughter in tow because I know she will go crazy over these!
The Pasta Dishes
They have five pasta dishes that’s included on the all-you-can-eat menu. In order of the pictures below, they are the: tuna pesto, baked penne, a la romana, kids choice spaghetti and creamy carbonara. In love with their baked penne! If I was ordering off the à la carte menu, this would definitely be my first choice.
A la romana and kids choice spaghetti are tied in second place, closely followed by the remaining two dishes: tuna pesto and creamy carbonara. All very flavorful and obviously they did not skimp on the ingredients. Bagay na bagay with their wings flavors and honestly, I would eat every last morsel if I still had space on my tummy that day
They have fries included on the unlimited menu, flavor is good too and pairs very well with the wings.
I would have eaten more fries but this rice presentation is too darn cute not to eat. I mean, look at that face!
Wrapping It Up
Price for the unlimited option is Php259 during happy hours (10:00 am to 4:00pm). Regular price is Php279. The price includes unlimited iced tea, too. If you think an unlimited option is too much for you, they also have solo orders on the menu. If you’re too lazy to go out, they would even deliver to you! Meron din silang other snacks and rice meals available, pati milk tea and coffee drinks.
We were all too full to finish everything on the table. Thankfully, the owners kindly allowed us to take our leftovers home. We stayed a while after we finished eating to talk to the owners, Joy and Roxanne. They’re really cool people and have tons of stories to tell. I promised myself I would go back to talk to them some more kasi Paulie and I really liked their vibe.
Fun times! I have been very busy at work lately and I didn’t realize I miss these types of interactions during reviews. I don’t know when the next one will be but I’ll definitely tell you all about it, syempre.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the owners for their wonderful accommodation. Definitely worth ulit-ulitin ang kain sa Sexy Kittea Cafe! Thank you also to my top fans who spent some of their precious time with me. I hope to see you all again soon!
